2. Sharing our story: a journey from exclusiveness to inclusiveness in Bridgetown and Balingup
The Bridgetown Police Station Museum has evolved from a collection of social history to telling the story of policing in Bridgetown and telling the truth about the devastating effects of white settlement on the Pibulmun people.
3. Nurse Lucy Emmeline Power established a nursing practice in Bridgetown in the early 1900s, delivering over 600 babies in her career. At the outbreak of WW1 Lucy volunteered her services as Staff Nurse to the war effort. This is her story.
